Edmond Leung has worked in the tech industry since 2010. Edmond began their career at The Wonderfactory as a Development Lead, where they managed a team of developers for clients such as Google, AARP, Sports Illustrated, and Virgin Blue. In 2012, they moved to Groove as a Development Lead, where they rewrote, refactored, and re-engineered a large portion of the Groove product with both LESS and Backbone. Edmond then led the redesign effort in mid-2012, which was crucial to the significant growth of Groove in 2013. In 2014, they became the Head of Front-End Engineering at Alphatise, where they mentored and led a small team of front-end Angular.js developers that enabled the successful launch of Alphatise. In 2015, they co-founded the digital agency Jimmy Makes Things as the Technical Director. In 2016, they moved to ditno. as a Development Consultant, leading out the development of their client application with the use of Node.js, React, Redux, SASS and Webpack. Finally, they served as a Technical and Development Consultant / Advisor to the CTO at Recomazing, building a new team to lead out the rebuild of Recomazing through the modernisation of their technology stack. In 2017, they joined Vivastream as a Technical Consultant / UI Engineer.

Edmond Leung attended the University of Sydney from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Computer Science and Technology with a focus on Software Development.
