Donal C.

Donal C. has over 25 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Donal started their career in 1994 as an Extrusion Technician & Team Leader at Adam Spence Europe, where they worked for five years. Donal then joined VistaMed as a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Extrusion, and worked there for five years as well. In 2004, they moved to Boston Scientific as a PCT Manufacturing Engineer, focusing on Extrusion, for two years. Donal then joined Vention Medical Ireland (formerly ANSAmed Ltd) in 2006 as a Senior Extrusion Engineer, where they stayed for eight years. Donal briefly worked at Acelity as a Manufacturing Engineer before joining ASTORA Women's Health in 2015 as a Manufacturing Engineer II. Currently, Donal is at Vivasure Medical Ltd., where they initially served as an R&D Engineer before being promoted to Senior R&D Engineer in July 2019.

Donal C. began their education in 1989 at Athlone Institute of Technology, where they earned a National Certificate in Plastics Engineering with Distinction from 1989 to 1991. Donal continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a National Diploma in Plastics Engineering with Merit from 1991 to 1992. Donal then attended London Metropolitan University from 1992 to 1993, earning a BSc (Hons) in Polymer Engineering. In 2015, they completed a certification as a Certified Solidworks Associate at Athlone Institute of Technology, which lasted until 2016.
