Gerard Brett

Gerard Brett has been in the medical industry for over 25 years. Gerard began their career in 1994 as a Senior Scientist at Ciba Additives. In 1997 they moved to Boston Scientific as a New Products Project Manager, where they were responsible for the transfer of over 30 new vascular products into the Galway Facility and product management of the Schneider product portfolio post acquisition. Gerard was also the Program Manager for Taxus. In 2004, they became the CEO of Zerusa and in 2009 the CEO of Vivasure Medical. In 2021, they were appointed as the COO of Vivasure Medical Ltd.

Gerard Brett obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Auburn University between 1994 and 1996, with a focus in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Gerard then obtained their Master of Science (MSc) from Florida State University between 1985 and 1987, with a focus in Organic Chemistry. Lastly, they obtained their Graduateship of the Royal Society of Chemistry (BSc. Hons.) from Kingston University between 1982 and 1984, with a focus in Chemistry and Applied Chemisty.
