Xenia Sango

Xenia Sango has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in the biotech and healthcare industries. Xenia currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at VivaZome Therapeutics, where they have been working since September 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at VivaZome Therapeutics and as a Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Development Consultant from January 2018 to December 2022.

Before joining VivaZome Therapeutics, Xenia held various leadership positions in other companies. Xenia was the Chair and Director at Kynetyka Technologies Pty Ltd since September 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Biotech and Healthcare Business Consultant at Acareon Health starting from August 2011.

Xenia's previous experience includes roles at Cannenta Pty Ltd as the Chief Operating Officer from April 2021 to August 2023, and at Invion Limited as the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Development from April 2017 to October 2020.

Xenia also held positions at Epworth HealthCare as the Research and Business Development Manager from October 2012 to October 2017, CSL Behring as the Senior Director of Global Commercial Project Leader from August 2008 to August 2011, and CSL as the Senior Director of Global Commercial Project Leader for Influenza from February 2006 to August 2008.

Furthermore, Xenia has prior experience at ZLB Behring AG as the Senior Director of Worldwide Commercial Operations from January 2005 to February 2006, and at ZLB Bioplasma as the Director of International Regulatory Affairs and Business Development from April 2002 to January 2005.

Xenia Sango obtained a Master's Certificate in Advanced Strategic Project Management & Applied Project Management from Villanova University in 2007-2008. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physical Organic Chemistry from La Trobe University in 1985-1987. Xenia also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Chemistry from the same university, which they completed in 1981-1984.
