Kyle Lamalfa

Kyle LaMalfa has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kyle started their career as a QA Engineer at Sterling Wentworth/Sungard in 1998 before becoming a Database Engineer at Park City Mountain Resort in 2000. In 2006, they worked as a Lead Statistician at Progrexion Marketing, where they collaborated with senior executives to provide insights through statistical analysis. From 2007 to 2010, they served as the President of People's Market and later as a Principal Consultant at Allegiance, Inc. In 2012, they became a Council Member at Salt Lake City Corporation, where they were involved in resolving controversial city issues and served as a spokesperson for the council. Kyle joined MaritzCX in 2008 and worked as a Principal Data Scientist until 2016, contributing to the development of customer experience technology and creating client solutions for data analysis. In 2016, they also worked as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Utah, teaching Statistics to graduate and undergraduate students. Since 2016, Kyle has been serving as the Director of Data Science at Vive Financial, where they lead the data science team. Throughout their career, they have specialized in statistical modeling, customer and employee relationship surveys, and unique business operations and marketing metrics.

Kyle LaMalfa holds a Master of Statistics degree in Sociology from the University of Utah, obtained between 2006 and 2009. Kyle also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the same university from 2004 to 2005. Prior to that, between 1993 and 1998, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Utah.
