Michael Steiner

Michael Steiner currently serves as the Regional Director of Health Policy at Vivent Health, where responsibilities include leading strategic engagement with legislative officials and advocating for health priorities related to HIV care and treatment. Previous roles include Manager of State Policy and Advocacy for Susan G. Komen, Chief of Staff for the Kansas Legislature, and Director of Government and Community Relations at Saint Luke's Health System, where Michael developed strong relationships with legislators and executed various advocacy strategies. Prior experience encompasses positions at the Kansas Legislative Research Department as a Research Analyst and Fiscal Analyst, and as Legislative Liaison for the Kansas Insurance Department. Michael holds a Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law, a Master of Arts from Lancaster University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Washburn University.
