Christophe Becker has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Christophe started working as a Research Engineer at IPAG, Université Joseph-Fourier in 2010, where they focused on simulation and analysis of small stellar group evolution due to gravity. Christophe used a computer cluster and modified Monte-Carlo routines for parameter initialization. In 2014, Christophe worked as a Software Engineer on a freelance basis, where they built Java software for data storage, visualization, and analysis of sport workouts. Christophe conducted market studies, designed architecture, and produced code using SVN, Bug Tracker, and Netbeans. At Abylsen, starting from 2016, Christophe worked as a Web Developer, mainly working on Java and web projects such as CakePHP. Christophe also implemented a mapping tool and managed WMS/WFS requests. In 2017, they became a Co-founder of Coho at Animalinks, and in 2019, they joined Viveris as a Java Software Developer.

Christophe Becker pursued their education in the field of astrophysics. In 2004, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I). Christophe furthered their studies at the same university and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Astrophysics in 2010. Christophe then continued their academic journey at Université de Grenoble and successfully completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astrophysics in 2013.
