Frédéric Blanchet-Momas has a diverse work experience in the aeronautics and software engineering industry.
From 2000 to 2002, they worked at Viveris as an AFDX Stack Developer for Aérospatiale Matra/Airbus, where they conducted research and studied avionic networks AFDX for the A380 plane. Frédéric was responsible for the development of a model based on real-time Linux for experimentation on network abilities and also wrote a specific Ethernet driver.
In 2003, Frédéric held the position of Satellite Software Engineer at Marlink/France Telecom, where they were in charge of the technical development of several satellite communication services. Frédéric developed the MPDS satellite communication service by France Telecom/Inmarsat in 2000 and the RBGAN satellite communication service in 2003.
Frédéric then joined Thales Alenia Space as an Aeronautic Systems Software Engineer from 2004 to 2005. Here, they worked on the development of broadband services, specifically focusing on the creation of forward tools running on a real-time Linux platform and the authentication subsystem.
From 2006 to 2007, they worked at Viveris as a Technical Expert on Industrial Card for Airbus, providing assistance and expertise in the migration of avionic tools from LynxOS to real-time Linux PPC. Frédéric'srole also involved reorganizing simulation tools.
Since September 2007, Frédéric has been with Viveris/Collins Aerospace as a Senior Aeronautic Systems and Software Engineer. Frédéric is currently assigned to the Rockwell Collins office in Blagnac, where they are responsible for networking/cellular development and integration projects. Frédéric has also been a member of the dev team for the InteliSight project and has worked with international teams located in the US, France, and India.
Overall, Frédéric Blanchet-Momas has demonstrated expertise in software engineering, avionics, satellite communication, and real-time Linux platform development throughout their extensive work experience.
Frédéric Blanchet-Momas pursued their education in the field of engineering and computer science. In 1998, they enrolled at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, where they obtained a Maitrise E.E.A. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. During this period, they acquired a strong foundation in engineering principles and concepts. Following their completion at Toulouse III, in 1999, they attended Université de Caen Normandie, where they pursued a DESS A.E.I.I degree in Computer Science. Frédéric's educational journey has equipped him with a diverse skill set in both electrical engineering and computer science.
