Paul-Emile Kim

Paul-Emile Kim has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at Viveris, where they are involved in a pre-study project with Alstom to secure a toolchain against retro-engineering. Prior to this, they worked at MBDA as a C++ Software Developer.

Before joining Viveris, Paul-Emile completed an internship in innovation at ALTEN, where they contributed to the development of a 3D simulation platform for drones. During this internship, they utilized C++ and Python to add additional functionalities to the platform.

Paul-Emile also has experience working at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab, where they completed a programming internship focused on raytracing using the Nvidia OptiX API. Additionally, they have held positions at the Ministère de l'Écologie, du Développement durable et de l'Énergie, including a one-month contract in IT support and another in the cleaning service where they compiled office inventories and presented results on Excel.

Furthermore, Paul-Emile has worked as a Commercial Placement (sales associate) at WL International and as a worker placement at Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace - Le Bourget, where they scanned and uploaded archive photos and set up computers.

Paul-Emile Kim's education history starts in 2010 when they attended Lycée Epin and obtained an A Level Certificate in Economique et Social. From 2013 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Virtual Reality and 3d Imagery from EFREI - Grande école du numérique. In 2017 and 2018, they attended Staffordshire University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Jeux sur ordinateur et programmation. In terms of certifications, Paul-Emile Kim obtained the TOEIC Listening and Reading certification from ETS Global B.V. in December 2016. Additionally, they have earned several certifications, including Learning Docker, L'essentiel des architectures serverless, Les fondements du Big Data, and L'essentiel de Git, all from LinkedIn, with the latest obtained in July 2022.
