Bertrand Soenen

Bertrand Soenen is an accomplished finance and investment professional with extensive experience spanning several leadership and board roles. Currently serving as Director of Equity Investments at ING Belgium since November 2022, Bertrand is also a Non-Executive Director for imec.istart future fund and Ark Angels Activator Fund NV, along with Non-Executive Board Member positions at Qbic Fund, VIVES Funds, and imec.istart Fund since January 2023. Bertrand's previous roles at ING included Senior Manager in Finance/Procurement and Head of Contract & Vendor Management, along with various managerial positions in Securities Transaction Management and Legal Financial Markets at ING Belgium. Bertrand's early career as a Corporate Lawyer at Linklaters contributed to a solid foundation in finance and law, supported by educational qualifications from University College London, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, and the University of Goettingen.
