Sandra Schoors is a seasoned investment professional and scientific expert currently serving as a Partner and Senior Investment Manager at VIVES Partners since January 2024. Previously, Sandra held various roles at Droia Ventures from February 2017 to July 2023, culminating in the position of Partner. Sandra also contributed to Montis Biosciences as Chief Scientific Officer from December 2021 to April 2023, and previously as VP Biology from August 2019 to June 2021. Earlier in Sandra's career, roles included Drug Discovery Project Manager at the Laboratory of Angiogenesis & Vascular Metabolism from September 2015 to February 2017 and several positions at Droia Ventures, demonstrating a comprehensive background in biomedical sciences. Sandra holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Angiogenesis & Metabolism, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, all from KU Leuven.
