Artas Oozhak

Artas Oorzhak is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as CEO at playbooq.com since January 2024, Oorzhak focuses on simplifying operations. Prior to this role, Oorzhak was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Antler and held the position of VP of Finance at Smartcat, overseeing finance, legal, operations, and data teams. At Vivid Money, Oorzhak was instrumental as the first finance hire, leading fundraising efforts from Seed to Series C, resulting in an impressive valuation increase from $0 to $886 million. Previous roles include Corporate Finance at ID Finance, Project Finance at Sberbank CIB, and Structured Equity at VTB Capital. Oorzhak began a career at PwC in audit and holds a degree from the Finance University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
