Yongsheng Liu

Yongsheng Liu has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences. Yongsheng is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Vividion Therapeutics. Inc. since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ActivX Biosciences for over 20 years, holding various roles including Principal Research Scientist, Senior Research Scientist, and Research Scientist. During their time at ActivX Biosciences, they focused on new drug target identification and validation, specifically identifying and validating the metabolic enzyme 15-PGDH as a drug target in inflammatory disease. Yongsheng was responsible for assay development, high throughput screening, hit-to-lead identification, lead optimization, mechanistic studies, and target engagement. Yongsheng Liu also has experience as a Postdoctoral fellow at The Scripps Research Institute, where they developed activity-based protein profiling (ABPP).
