Catherine McAleer

Catherine McAleer has over 11 years of experience in the fashion industry, with a focus on accessories design. Catherine worked at Vivienne Westwood since 2015, starting as an Accessories Designer and progressing to Senior Accessories Designer, overseeing various collections. In July 2021, they became the Head of Accessories Design at Vivienne Westwood. Prior to this, they worked at L.K.Bennett as an Accessories Assistant Product Developer and at Roland Mouret as a Footwear and Accessories Assistant Designer. Catherine also gained experience as a Design Intern at Donna Karan.

Catherine McAleer pursued their education by first attending Central Saint Martins from 2008 to 2009, where they completed a Foundation program in Art and Design, majoring in Product Design. Following this, they enrolled at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, from 2009 to 2012. There, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Cordwainers Footwear: Product Design and Development. The field of study for their degree is not specified.
