Carlos Floría Martín

Carlos Floría Martín has a diverse and extensive work experience. Carlos is currently the Co-founder and COO of VIVLA, a PropTech startup focused on fractional ownership of luxury second homes. Prior to this, Carlos worked as a Collaborator at mendesaltaren, where they led various projects and worked with top tier startups in Spain. Additionally, they co-founded Gazella App, a femtech app that helps women exercise and eat in sync with their menstrual cycle. Carlos also served as an Investment Director - Venture Capital at Inveready Technology Investment Group, where they led investment efforts and managed venture debt funds. Carlos is also a co-founder of I MAS D RUNNING, a startup that specialized in biomechanical running analyses. Before venturing into startups, they held vice president roles at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking, focusing on strategic & acquisition finance, leveraged finance & non-investment grade, and leveraged finance group. Carlos started their career as a manager in the leveraged finance group at RBS Markets and International Banking.

Carlos Floría Martín has a diverse education history. Carlos obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid between 1999 and 2005. In 2009 and 2010, they pursued an Executive Master in Economic & Financial Management from Esade. In 2003 and 2004, they studied abroad at the University of Liverpool through an Erasmus scholarship, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Carlos also completed the Startup School Winter 2020 program offered by Y Combinator through Startup School Online.
