Edgar Rodríguez Guzmán

Edgar Rodríguez Guzmán has extensive experience in the finance and administration field. Edgar currently holds the position of Director of Finance and Administration at Vivo Resorts since May 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Financial Director at Hotel El Ganzo Los Cabos from June 2016 to May 2020. Their responsibilities included preparing and presenting the annual budget, developing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Before joining Hotel El Ganzo Los Cabos, Edgar worked as a Financial Controller at NH Hotel Group from July 2015 to June 2016. In this role, they controlled expenses in various departments, prepared financial statements, and supervised staff. Edgar also gained experience as a Corporate Financial Analyst at Hoteles Mision from April 2011 to July 2015, where they analyzed financial data and provided insights for decision-making.

Edgar also served as a Controller at Hotel Hippodrome from May 2010 to April 2011, where they oversaw financial operations and ensured adherence to budget guidelines. Additionally, they worked as a Financial Controller at Encanto Hotel from September 2009 to August 2010, and as a Corporate Accountant at Grupo Habita from January 2006 to September 2009.

Throughout their career, Edgar has demonstrated strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Edgar has also gained experience in audit processes, inventory monitoring, and staff training.

Edgar Rodríguez Guzmán has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the Facultad de Contaduría y Administración CU UNAM, which they obtained in 2005. In 2011, they pursued a Master's degree in Corporate Finance at the Unidad de Posgrado Facultad de Contaduría y Administración UNAM, which they completed in 2013. During the same period, from 2010 to 2013, they also obtained a Master's degree in Hotel Management from the Universidad de Turismo y Ciencias Administrativas, A.C. In 2010, they specialized in Hotels & Restaurants Management at the Universidad de Turismo y Ciencias Administrativas, A.C. Finally, in 2005, they attended a tax seminar at the Facultad de Contaduría y Administración FCA UNAM.
