John Collins

John Collins has extensive work experience in the finance and consultancy sectors. John currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Vivobarefoot since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member at Friends of the Earth starting from January 2020. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as the Finance Director at Pukka Herbs, where they were responsible for finance, transformation, strategic projects, impact reporting, and IT. John also worked as an Independent Consultant at Rychter & Jackson Consultancy Ltd from July 2017 to April 2018, specializing in commercial effectiveness and business and finance strategy. Before that, they held various roles at Diageo, including Commercial Director Europe, Global Travel, Field Sales Director, Finance Director, Finance Integration & Commercial Finance Manager, Compliance & Ethics Manager, and Finance Manager. John started their career at Deloitte as an Audit Manager from October 2002 to September 2006.

John Collins began their education at Malahide Community School from 1993 to 1999. John then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University from 1999 to 2002. Following that, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland from 2002 to 2005, earning an ACA (Associate of Chartered Accountants) degree.
