James Campbell-Fitzpatrick

Electrical Design Engineer at VivoPower

James has worked around vehicles for over a decade, starting his career with Ricardo working on the MOD LPPV programme where despite a degree in Mechanical Engineering he undertook electrical component management and vehicle testing. From here his journey into motorsport and electrification started with Williams Hybrid Power providing the Energy Store for the first hybrid powered car to win the 24hr of Le Mans race.

With an ever growing knowledge of the electrical components used on an electrified powertrain James has been the technical lead of a DCDC and OBC project, designed race car and stunt car harnessing, tested high voltage batteries and even spend some time as a Project Manager.
