William Ku

William Ku has a diverse work experience in the technology and security industry. William started their career as a Researcher at ITRI from September 1997 to October 2000. Later, they joined VIVOTEK in November 2012, where they initially served as the VP of the International Business Division until December 2014. William then held the position of VP of the Brand Business Division from January 2015 to January 2020. Currently, they are the Executive Vice President in the Brand Business Division at VIVOTEK since January 2020. Additionally, William has also taken on leadership roles in industry associations, serving as the Vice Managing Director at Taiwan Safety and Security Industrial Association since November 2020 and as the Executive Director at Taiwan Industry Association of Intelligent Security and Safety since March 2020.

William Ku has a strong educational background in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. William began their academic journey at National Taiwan University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1987 to 1991. William continued their studies at the same university and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1991 to 1997. In pursuit of furthering their knowledge and skills, William Ku enrolled in the Executive MBA program at National Taiwan University from 2013 to 2021, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
