Philip Chwistek

Philip Chwistek has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, they are working as a Product Manager at Vivun, a leading provider of PreSales software. In this role, they are responsible for driving growth efficiently by scaling technical selling efforts and maximizing R&D investments.

Prior to that, Philip worked at Microsoft as a Product Manager for the Family division from March 2021 to August 2022. Additionally, they served as a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University's Integrated Innovation Institute, where they assisted in teaching machine learning and architecture and programming principles.

Philip also gained experience as a Product Manager Intern at Microsoft, working on the Money in Excel project. Philip spent time at Zuper, where they worked as a Junior Developer and Software Development Intern. Philip also served as a CALS Undergraduate Research Assistant at Penn State University and as a Software Development Intern at ServiceDock.

Furthermore, Philip worked as a Learning Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Penn State College of Information Sciences and Technology, where they developed a recommender system prototype as a front-end developer. Philip started their career as a Bioinformatics Intern at Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Philip Chwistek began their education journey in 2015 at Penn State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English until 2019. During the same period, from 2015 to 2019, they also attended the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State, working towards a Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences and Technology.

In 2016, Philip briefly studied abroad at Maastricht University, focusing on International Business. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University in 2019. Philip pursued a Master of Science degree in Software Management, which they completed in 2020.

In terms of additional certifications, Philip obtained a Data Structures and Algorithms Nanodegree from Udacity in July 2019.
