Bruce Williams

Museum Collections Manager at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

Bruce Williams has a wealth of work experience in the museum and archival field. Starting in 2019, they have been the Museum Collections Manager at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Prior to this, they were the Museum Collections Manager at MOAD Museum of Art and Design from 2017. During the same year, they were also the Head of Special Collections at the Kislak Center MDC. From 2007 to 2017, they were the Exhibition and Operations Coordinator at the Schlesinger Library at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. From 2002 to 2007, they were an Architectural Assistant at Safdie Architects, where they managed a document archival system for a large international architectural firm, assisted architects and model makers, and created basic AutoCAD drawings.

Bruce Williams has a diverse educational background. Bruce holds a Master of Liberal Arts degree in Museology/Museum Studies from Harvard University, a CLD in Landscape Design from Harvard University, and a B.S. in Biology from Wayland Baptist University. Bruce also attended Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they studied Architecture and Landscape Architecture.
