Deborah Nelson

Deborah Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Deborah began their career in 1987 at RB Bankshares, where they served as the SVP Professional & Executive Lending, leading a healthcare-focused lending division and establishing the Women's Business Development Board. Deborah then founded Medical Marketing Management in 1995, a consulting firm that catered to various healthcare organizations' needs, including practice management, physician recruitment, contract negotiations, and sales and marketing campaigns. During this time, they also served as the Practice Administrator to a large pediatric sub-specialty group. In 2005, they joined MedAssets, where they held roles such as Regional VP Revenue Cycle Technology and Vice President Enterprise Sales, focusing on reducing total cost of care, enhancing operational efficiency, and improving revenue performance. Currently, since 2016, they work at Vizient, Inc, holding positions such as Senior Principal Enterprise Sales, Senior Principal Member Performance, and presently SVP Enterprise Growth.
