Mike Barron

Mike Barron is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare and emergency services. Currently serving as the Enterprise Executive Lead at Vizient, Inc. since April 2014, Mike manages strategic relationships with major acute care members in the Northwest, including the University of Washington Medicine and Oregon Health Science University. Previously held roles at Vizient include Enterprise Spend Executive Lead and Director of Member Solutions, earning recognition as the Acute Care Sales Director of the Year in 2018 and 2019. Prior to Vizient, Mike worked at Cardinal Health as an Account Consultant and at Owens & Minor as an Account Specialist, where Mike achieved top rankings in sales performance. Mike's early career includes roles as a Suture Manufacture & Shipping Coordinator at CP Medical, and as an Intern Firefighter and Company Officer with the City of Corvallis, where Mike contributed significantly to fire and medical emergency response. Mike holds a BS in Fire Services Administration from Eastern Oregon University and an AAS in Fire Science from Central Oregon Community College.
