Praphot Thipsremongkol

Praphot Thipsremongkol has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Praphot began their career as a Senior Auditor at EY in 1995, where they gained experience in auditing public and private companies across multiple industries. During their time at EY, they also worked on consolidations and prepared financial statements for listed companies.

In 2000, Praphot joined Laguna Resort & Hotel Plc. as a Senior Accounting Manager. Their responsibilities included analyzing department reports, preparing management reports, and consolidating cash flows and budgets. Praphot also played a major role in preparing the annual report for submission to SET.

In 2001, Praphot joined IT One as a Financial Controller. Here, they performed financial analysis, budgeting, and assisted the CFO in preparing the business plan. Praphot ensured the accuracy and timely submission of statutory reports and prepared management reports in accordance with Thai GAAP and US GAAP. Additionally, they prepared materials for Board of Directors meetings and monitored the accuracy of time reports.

Most recently, Praphot held multiple roles at Vizrt Group. Praphot started as a Financial Controller for Thailand, where they worked from October 2009 to December 2016. Praphot then became the Financial Controller for Thailand, CLMV, and India from January 2017 to December 2022. Currently, Praphot holds the role of Finance Manager - APAC, starting in January 2023.

Praphot Thipsremongkol has a strong educational background in finance and accounting. From 1991 to 1995, Praphot attended Thammasat University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Following this, from 1999 to 2004, Praphot pursued a Master's degree in Finance at the same university.

In addition to their formal education, Praphot has obtained various certifications. In 1997, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Thailand through the Thailand Federation of Accounting Professions (TFAC). In 2015, Praphot achieved the designation of Professional Controller, also awarded by TFAC. Praphot further expanded their knowledge and skills by completing the Diploma in Thai Financial Reporting (Dip-TFR) offered by the Thailand Federation of Accounting Professions in 2017. Additionally, in the same year, they became an ASEAN CPA (ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant) through the ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant Coordinating Committee (ACPACC).

Praphot continues to enhance their professional development by obtaining certifications in coaching and leadership. In 2023, they completed the Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers course as well as the Manager as Coach program, both offered by LinkedIn.
