Sam Leadsom

Sam Leadsom is an experienced professional in the sports industry with a diverse background in various leadership roles. Starting in 1994, Leadsom worked as a Director/ Assistant Producer for PGA European Tour Productions Limited. Throughout their career, they have held positions such as Producer at HBS, Field Events Director at Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games, and Producer at UEFA.

In 1998, Leadsom joined IMG Media as a Senior Producer, where they managed live and magazine shows for Premier League Productions. Sam later became the Executive Producer and Head of Premier League Productions, overseeing various programming initiatives and launching PLTV, the Premier League's 24/7 content service. During their time at IMG, they won new business from clients such as UEFA, FIFA/HBS, NBC, and Barclays.

From 2014 to 2017, Leadsom served as the Vice President of Production for FOX Networks Group Asia, where they were responsible for the strategic direction and output of the sports business across Asia. Sam also headed FOX Sports' production, managing content for linear, digital, and OTT platforms.

In 2021, Leadsom became the Vice President of Global Business Development at Pixotope, where they worked with C-Suite executives, regional VPs, and partners to enhance service excellence and drive new business opportunities in sports, broadcast, channel partnerships, and education.

Currently, Leadsom is the Commercial Director, Global Sports at Vizrt Group, where they lead the global commercial organization in strengthening the company's market position in sports. Sam formed a revenue-generating team that achieved 20% revenue growth year over year, a 30% uplift in operating income, and increased the pipeline.

Sam Leadsom attended Canterbury Christ Church University from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors. Their field of study included Radio, Film, and Television, as well as Sports Science. Prior to that, Sam attended Wellingborough School from 1982 to 1987, though no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
