Ulrich Voigt

Ulrich Voigt has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ulrich currently serves as the Global Head of Product Management at Vizrt Group, a leading provider of visual storytelling tools for media content creators. Prior to this role, they held the position of VP Product Management at Vizrt from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining Vizrt, Ulrich worked at Qvest Media as the Head of Design from 2016 to 2021. In this role, they were responsible for developing strategic multi-system technology solutions and products in the broadcast and cloud domain. Ulrich also managed bids and major projects as the Project Owner.

Ulrich has an extensive background in the broadcast industry, having worked at IBM for over a decade. Ulrich held the position of Senior Lead IT Architect at IBM Global Business Services - Media and Entertainment from 2009 to 2016. Ulrich was responsible for planning, designing, and implementing broadcast production, distribution, and archive systems for major broadcasters worldwide. Prior to this role, they served as Lead IT Architect at IBM Deutschland - Media and Entertainment from 2003 to 2008 and as a Consultant for Media and Broadcast Projects at IBM Deutschland from 1997 to 2002.

Before their time at IBM, Ulrich worked as an Event Engineer at Anlo Veranstaltungstechnik and as a Freelancer in Media Pedagogy at Jugendclub der evangelischen Auferstehungsgemeinde Praunheim.

Ulrich Voigt attended Liebigschule Frankfurt am Main from 1982 to 1991, where they obtained their Abitur. Following that, they enrolled at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 1991 to 1997 and earned their Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.-Ing.) degree in Nachrichtentechnik. In addition to their formal education, Ulrich Voigt has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers and Manager as Coach from LinkedIn in February 2023, AWS Partner: Sales Accreditation (Business) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2023, Product Focus Certified Product Manager from Product Focus in January 2023, Security Journey - White Belt from Security Journey in December 2022, Architect Profession Certification - Certified IT Architect from IBM in November 2008, and Master Certified IT Architect from The Open Group in October 2004.
