Yu-Feng Wei

Yu-Feng W. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2014, they co-founded Vizuro, an AI innovation company that develops customized solutions in fields such as radiology, marketing analytics, and bioinformatics. They continue to be involved with the company. From 2017 to 2022, Yu-Feng served as the Chief Data Scientist at Aurora Imaging Technology, Inc., where they led the development of machine vision AI for breast MRI to improve cancer diagnosis and early screening. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Trinity Pharma Solutions from 2007 to 2014 and as a Consultant at Advanced Engineering and Analytical Consulting from 2001 to 2007. They also had a stint as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2001, conducting research on concurrent product and manufacturing system design methodology. Yu-Feng's work experience begins with their time as a Forward Observer in the Republic of China Marine Corps from 1993 to 1995.

Yu-Feng W.'s education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled at National Taiwan University. They pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering, which they completed in 1993. Following this, from 1995 to 1997, Yu-Feng W. attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Engineering. Continuing their educational journey, from 1997 to 2001, Yu-Feng W. attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they completed their PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
