Alex Larrañaga

Alex Larrañaga has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Alex is currently working as a Software Engineer at Vizzuality, where they focus on backend engineering and building data-driven tools to address environmental issues like climate change and biodiversity. Prior to this, Alex worked at EarthPulse SL as a Full Stack Developer, where they were responsible for feature development, quality assurance, and migrating project's JavaScript codebase to TypeScript. Alex has also worked as a QA Engineer at IKUSI, ensuring quality processes through the software development lifecycle. Earlier in their career, Alex worked as a Sysadmin at DANOBAT and LTELEKOM, where their responsibilities included system administration and electronic technician work.

Alex Larrañaga has completed an ASIR / DAW degree in Informática at Uni Eibar / Ermua. Additionally, they obtained the ISTQB Foundation Level certification in software engineering from the ISTQB Certification Institute.
