Jakob Byrge

Jakob Byrge has extensive experience in the field of treasury and finance. Jakob is currently working as the Head of Group Treasury at VKR Holding A/S since May 2021. Prior to this, they were an Independent Treasury Consultant at JBY Consult from November 2017 to May 2021. Jakob also held the position of Group Treasury Director and Head of Corporate Treasury at Hempel A/S from June 2012 to January 2018. Earlier in their career, they served as a Treasury Manager at ISS Group from February 2010 to June 2012, and as a Treasury Manager at Carlsberg Breweries A/S from November 2004 to December 2009. Jakob has also held finance-related roles such as Finance Manager at FLS Aerospace from November 2000 to May 2004 and Treasury Manager at FLSmidth from May 1994 to November 2000. Jakob started their career as an FX dealer at Sparekassen Kronjylland from January 1991 to May 1994.

Jakob Byrge attended Aarhus University from 1990 to 1994, where they pursued a degree in Economics. Jakob completed the program and obtained an HD degree. Later, in 2001, Jakob Byrge enrolled at FLS Academy for a year, from 2001 to 2002, to study Management. However, it is unclear whether they obtained a degree from this institution.
