Klaus Bertelsen

Klaus Bertelsen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Klaus began their career as a Consultant at Ecoplan ApS in 1984 and later became a Department Manager at JDC Data a/s from 1987 to 1990. Klaus then worked at ADP as a Project Manager for the Dealer Management System, followed by a role as Product Manager for the Automotive Industry. In 1993, Klaus joined VKR Holding A/S as the Head of the Budget Department for four years. Klaus then transitioned to VELUX, where they held various managerial positions, including Regional Manager and Operations Manager. Klaus returned to VKR Holding A/S in 2008, where they worked as the Financial Group Controller before becoming the Head of Financial Reporting in 2012. Throughout their career, Klaus has showcased their expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and international operations management.

Klaus Bertelsen completed their primary education at Lyngby Private Skole, where they obtained a Real Eksamen degree. Klaus then went on to attend Idrætshøjskolen i Sønderborg for a year to study sports. Afterward, from 1978 to 1980, Klaus attended Gentofte Statsskole, where they completed their high school education and obtained an HF degree. Following this, Klaus enrolled at Copenhagen Business School, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree (B. Sc. (Econ.)) in Management Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems from 1981 to 1984. Continuing their education at the same institution, Klaus completed their Master's degree (M. Sc. (Econ.)) in the same field of study from 1985 to 1990.
