Lard Vanobbergen

Lard Vanobbergen is an experienced professional with a strong focus on energy efficiency and sustainable lighting solutions. Currently serving as an extern consultant for VEB since March 2022, Lard also holds the position of Chief Energy Officer at both Watts-ON and Belga Business Center, where responsibilities include optimizing lighting for businesses and managing a new business center in Deinze, respectively. Additionally, Lard is involved with the International WELL Building Institute as a WELL Faculty Member, WELL Light Concept Advisor, and WELL Accredited Professional, which highlights expertise in health-focused building standards. Lard chairs the Good Light Group, a non-profit promoting effective indoor lighting, and has been active with Unizo Deinze as the chairman, along with participating in The Climate Reality Project as a Climate Reality Leader. Previous roles include commercial director at Decat Energy Technics nv and managing director at Brontec. Educational qualifications include achieving WELL AP certification and a degree from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven'.
