Shane de Kegel

Shane De Kegel is a seasoned DevOps Engineer currently working at Digitaal Vlaanderen since March 2022 and also running De Kegel Consulting BV as the owner since February 2022. Previously, Shane held the same title at Fednot from May 2021 to March 2022 and at Keytrade Bank from January 2014 to May 2021, where responsibilities included maintaining the DevOps toolset and supporting developers. At Keytrade Bank, Shane also served as an IT Infrastructure & Operations Engineer, focusing on Linux and gaining experience with Windows. Earlier career highlights include working at Smals as a Supervision Front Officer, providing second line support, and interning as a Threat Analyst at IBM's Security Operations Center. Shane holds a bachelor's degree in applied computer science and an advanced business management degree from Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven.
