Tom Truyens

Tom Truyens is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in software engineering and consultancy. Currently serving as a Solution Architect at Digitaal Vlaanderen since January 2023, Truyens also operates as the Owner of Theops, providing freelance software development and consultancy since October 2008. Previous roles include Software Engineer at Acerta, Technical Architect at VDAB, and similar positions at Parkd and GEO Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed development for various governmental organizations. Truyens began the career as a Java and GIS Consultant at GEO Solutions (Cronos) and contributed to significant projects at Eurocontrol and Luciad. Educational credentials include a degree in IT from Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven.
