Dr. Ir Dirk Deschoolmeester

Dr. Ir Dirk Deschoolmeester is a distinguished Professor at UGent and Vlerick Management School since September 1968, specializing in Management of ICT, Business Process Management, and Entrepreneurship in the SME context. With extensive experience in research and teaching, Dr. Deschoolmeester focuses on ICT management, evaluation of Information Systems investments, and entrepreneurship for small businesses. In addition to academic roles, Dr. Deschoolmeester serves as Chairman of the Belgian Federation of Professional Informatics Associations and co-organizes the IFIP WG8.9 Conference on ERP and Enterprise Information Systems since 2011.
