Kristof Stouthuysen

Kristof Stouthuysen has extensive experience in academia and leadership within the field of management accounting and digital finance. Currently serving as Director at the Centre for Financial Leadership & Digital Transformation since October 2020, Kristof also holds the position of Professor of Management Accounting at KU Leuven, where employment has continued since October 2015. Kristof's expertise is recognized through a role as a member of the FSMA Sanctions Committee from June 2017 and as a Visiting Professor at IESE Business School since February 2015. Additionally, Kristof has been a Full Professor of Management Accounting and Digital Finance at Vlerick Business School since September 2010. Kristof's academic journey includes a PhD in Applied Economics from KU Leuven, coupled with earlier experience as a doctoral researcher from 2005 to 2010 and an internship at Philips Lighting in 2003.
