Mario Vanhoucke

Mario Vanhoucke is a distinguished professor with extensive experience in the field of operations management. Currently serving as a professor at UCL School of Management and University College London since 2010, Mario has also held professorships at Ghent University and Vlerick Business School since 2001. In addition to academic roles, Mario is a partner at OR-AS, a company specializing in developing applications and solutions in operations research to optimize complex business processes. Mario began academic career as a research assistant at K.U.Leuven from 1996 to 2001 and holds a PhD in Commercial Engineering with a focus on Operations Management from KU Leuven.
