Pablo Gutierrez has a diverse work experience in various leadership positions. In 2002, they worked as an R&D Engineer at the University of Birmingham. Pablo then moved on to Inovia in 2003, where they served as an R&D Engineer, collaborating with different teams to develop product ideas. From 2003 to 2005, Gutierrez worked at the Instituto Tecnológico Agrario as a Biofuels Area Manager, overseeing operations and conducting cost and efficiency studies. In 2005, they joined Abengoa, where they held multiple roles, including Process Engineer, Project Manager, Deputy Managing Director, and General Manager Biotechnology. At Abengoa, they focused on developing technology, managing projects, and building relationships with stakeholders. In 2017, Gutierrez became the CEO of 53Biologics, leading the company's operations and implementing business strategies. Pablo then served as the CEO of VLPbio, providing leadership and making high-level decisions. In 2018, Gutierrez joined BDI biotech as the Group CEO, where they developed the group's strategy and led the management team. Additionally, in 2018, they founded ec2ce and served as a board member, actively participating in meetings and supporting the organization's mission. Throughout their career, Gutierrez has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on strategy development and implementation.

Pablo Gutierrez's education history begins in 1996 when they attended the Universidad de Salamanca and earned a degree in Ingeniero Químico, which translates to Chemical Engineer. From 2002 to 2003, they pursued further education at the University of Birmingham, where they obtained an MSc in Biochemical Engineering. In 2009, they attended the IE Business School and completed an Executive MBA with a focus on General Management. In 2014, they undertook additional education at INSEAD in the field of Strategic R&D Management. During the same year, they also pursued studies in Product Marketing at Pragmatic Marketing.
