Karen Overton

Karen Overton, CSQE, is an experienced quality management professional currently serving as the Manager of Corporate Quality at VLSIP Technologies, Inc. since October 2014, where responsibilities include implementing and maintaining an effective Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with corporate, customer, and ISO requirements. Previously, Karen held the position of Sr. Manager Software Development at St. Jude Medical from April 2008 to June 2014, leading teams in the full software development life cycle for medical devices. Prior experience includes a role as Software Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent from 1994 to 2008, where project leadership involved designing telephony services, and as Software Engineer & Trainer at GE from 1986 to 1993, focusing on expert system and object-oriented development and training in programming languages. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire.
