Rik Malfait

Rik Malfait is an experienced professional in the HVAC and construction industries, currently serving as the Director of Operations HVAC North at VMA since April 2023, while also running Zet37Advice. Prior to this, Rik held various leadership positions including Director at Cegelec Belgium and Managing Director at s.a. Freyssinet Belgium n.v. from 2013 to 2019. Additional experience includes managing operations in Southern and Eastern Africa and serving as a Business Unit Director and Department Director at Cegelec. Rik’s career began at ABB, where significant roles included BU Manager and Project Manager. Rik holds a degree from Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende, earned between 1984 and 1988.
