Mike Mauzé

Mike Mauzé is a General Partner at VMG Partners, a private equity firm specializing in building iconic consumer brands. VMG has been at the forefront of consumer products investing, partnering with entrepreneurial companies, founders and co-investors to deliver a depth of experience to help grow, scale and prepare companies for exit.

Prior to joining VMG Partners, Mike was a board member at Little Freddie Organic Baby Food, SmashMallow, and Stone Brewing. Mike also served as the chairman of the board of trustees at SFJAZZ from July 2015 to June 2018.

Mike Mauzé has dedicated their career to helping consumer brands reach their full potential. Mike's experience and strategic guidance have been invaluable in assisting VMG Partners’ portfolio companies accelerate growth, scale brand awareness, and achieve their own definition of success.

Mike Mauzé has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Columbia University in Marketing and Finance and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Davidson College.
