Thorsten Schreiber

Thorsten Schreiber has been working in the technology industry since 2007. Thorsten began their career as a Network- and System Administrator at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Ruhr-University Bochum in 2007. In 2011, they became a Student Assistant and a Student Teaching Assistant at the Chair for Network and Data Security, Ruhr-University Bochum. In 2013, they were a Student Trainee at Utimaco Safeware AG. From 2014 to 2015, they held the role of Student Teaching Assistant at the Chair for Network and Data Security, Ruhr-University Bochum, where they developed and implemented exercises and computer lab environment, and lectured on Electronic Payment Structures, jPOS, and HSM. In 2015, they became a Technical Product Manager and a Software Engineer at VMRay.

Thorsten Schreiber attended Ruhr University Bochum from 2004 to 2006, where they studied Catholic Theology without receiving a degree. Thorsten then attended Ruhr University Bochum from 2006 to 2015, where they received an Engineer's Degree in Dipl.-Ing. für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik.
