Aydın Han

Aydın Han has diverse work experience spanning over multiple years. Aydın started their career as a Machine Translation Specialist at Bologna Translation Service in March 2011 and worked there until March 2013. During this role, they supervised a team of 11 developers and interns and played a pivotal role in building the Turkish-to-English part of the machine translation service. Aydın also collaborated with various companies across the EU.

Following this, Aydın joined Koç University as a Research & Teaching Assistant in September 2009 and worked until December 2013. Aydın conducted research on Natural Language Processing and Machine Translation at the Artificial Intelligence Lab.

In 2014, Aydın worked as a Software Engineer at AppMonsta from June 2014 to January 2015, contributing to software development projects.

Later, Aydın joined VNGRS in February 2015 as a Machine Learning Lead. In this capacity, they worked on various projects such as creating a document understanding and paperwork automation app, developing a chatbot product for Alzheimer patients, and creating a standalone product of the forecasting API. Aydın served in this role until October 2019, when they were promoted to Head of AI & Data. In their current position at VNGRS, Aydın oversees AI and data-related initiatives.

Through their work experience, Aydın has developed expertise in machine translation, natural language processing, AI, data analysis, and software engineering.

Aydın Han completed their high school education at Nazilli Anadolu Lisesi from 1997 to 2004, where they studied science. Aydın then attended Koç University from 2004 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering. Aydın continued their education at Koç University from 2009 to 2011, obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science & Engineering.
