M. Deniz OKTAR has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies and roles. In 2003, they founded ReklamGiy, a guerrilla advertising network that employed university students to wear advertisement printed T-shirts. M. Deniz successfully grew the business to have around 500 students across 30 campuses. In 2005, they worked as a Product Designer at TargetYouth and as a Strategic Planner at Shift-Istanbul. In 2008, they briefly worked as a Software Developer in Infrastructure at Turkcell Teknoloji. In 2010, they co-founded Manifest, which later became known as SocialWire, and held the role of Co-Founder there until 2012. In 2012, they founded Fyonk and served as its CEO and Co-Founder until 2013. In the same year, they also co-founded iletken Teknoloji, where they provided consulting and technology integration services and developed Convertale, a leading e-commerce recommendation engine in Turkey. Lastly, in 2012, they co-founded VNGRS, a cloud transformation consultancy and a cloud development and devops service spinoff from VNGRS. M. Deniz held the position of Co-Founder and CEO at VNGRS, overseeing the planning, building, and running of complex customized migration strategies for clients' cloud adoption. Additionally, they co-founded another branch of VNGRS, which specialized in building high-quality, agile software development teams for US based product companies.
M. Deniz OKTAR attended Koç University from 2002 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
