James Matlik

James Matlik has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. James started their career as an intern at Eastman Kodak in 2000, where they focused on improving document retention policy conformance and developing Perl scripts for data tracking.

Later, James worked at EPFL from 2008 to 2012, contributing to the Scala Bazaars project as a maintainer. James upgraded the codebase and improved multi-platform support, reliability, and usability.

Returning to Eastman Kodak, James held various roles from 2001 to 2012. James served as a Business Systems Analyst, a Software Developer & Designer, and a System Integration Designer & Database Developer/Support. Notably, they designed and executed Software Configuration Management procedures, participated in ATG upgrades, and provided 24/7 on-call support pager rotation.

In 2012, James joined Thomson Reuters as a Sr. Software Engineer, specializing in ECommerce - Hybris. James contributed to the development and maintenance of their Hybris platform.

Since 2014, James has been working at Vnomics as a Sr. Software Engineer. Details about their role are not provided, but it can be assumed that they continue to contribute their expertise in software engineering.
