Mark Dees

Mark Dees currently serves as a bestuurslid regiobestuur at VO-raad since October 2022, where responsibilities include organizing member meetings and contributing to the Leden Advies Raad. Mark has been the directeur - bestuurder at Pallas Athene College since July 2020. Prior to this, Mark held the role of directeur at Aeres VMBO and Aeres MBO from August 2010 to July 2020, focusing on quality vocational education and overseeing a vocational training program in Food and Applied Biology. Mark's earlier career includes being a teamleider at Via Nova College from August 2005 to August 2010, where significant growth occurred in student enrollment, and serving as leerwegcoördinator at vd Capellen sg from August 2001 to August 2005, initially teaching economics, biology, and physics. Mark began professional experience as an account manager at ABN AMRO from August 1997 to August 2001, following a trainee program. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Ecological Pedagogy from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and a degree in Teaching Livestock Farming and Processing from Stoas.
