Pat Melena

Pat Melena has been working in the field of Vocational Services for over 25 years. Pat started their career as a Residential Manager with Concerned Care, Inc. in 1992. In this role, they were responsible for the daily operation of a group home for individuals with developmental disabilities. This included tasks such as hiring and supervising staff, developing individual service plans, and coordinating with other service providers. Pat remained in this role for over 24 years, until they were promoted to Program Director at Life Unlimited Inc. in 2017.

As Program Director, Pat was responsible for the overall operation of 19 different facility sites, serving a total of 48 individuals. This included providing 24-hour on-call support as needed, overseeing staff related issues, and ensuring accurate evaluation, planning, implementation, and monitoring of Individual Service Plans. Pat also directly supervised 4 program managers and 4 health coordinators. In December 2018, Pat left Life Unlimited Inc. to take on their current role as WPS Manager at Vocational Services.

Pat Melena has a BA in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and an Associates of Arts Degree from Bonozon Healthcare Pvt Ltd.

Pat Melena works with Lezlee Birdsong - Supported Employment Manager, Daniel Jeanes - General Manager, and Kimbal Mothershead - Executive Director. Pat Melena reports to Randy Hylton, CEO.
