Rafael Vega

Rafael Vega is a seasoned graphic humorist who has been contributing opinion drawings and caricatures under the pseudonym 'Sansón' since 1995 for El Norte de Castilla, where Rafael also serves as a local, regional, and national columnist. In addition, Rafael publishes a daily comic strip in the Opinion pages of several Vocento newspapers and authors the series 'Sala de espera' for the health magazine distributed by the group. As the manager of Nuevo Cuño ediciones since 1996, Rafael oversees an editorial company that specializes in the comprehensive development of various journalistic products, serving clients including El Norte de Castilla. Rafael held the position of director at Multiversa, an independent publisher of narrative and children's literature, from 2003 to 2017. Earlier in the career, Rafael worked as a cultural programmer for La Central, an organization focused on cultural and educational programs. Rafael holds a degree in Philosophy and Literature from the Universidad de Valladolid, obtained between 1985 and 1990.
