Gareth Sochen

Gareth Sochen has extensive experience in strategic leadership and operational management within Vodacom, serving in various executive roles since February 2005, including Executive Head of Division for CBU Commercial & Regional Operations, where responsibility encompassed directing financial, commercial, and operational systems across eight Vodacom regions. Sochen collaborated with regional executives to establish KPI Scorecards and managed program assurance for significant business transformation initiatives, including the implementation of a new billing and CRM system. Previous roles also included managing independent service provider relationships and sales strategies. Prior to Vodacom, experience includes financial management at Tiscali and implementation analysis at EppixComm. Sochen holds an Advanced Executive Program diploma from GIBS and postgraduate diplomas in management and a BSc in Genetics and Microbiology from the University of the Witwatersrand.
