Odele Taylor

Odele Taylor is an accomplished talent management and organizational development executive with extensive experience across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Executive Head of Talent Management and Skills Transformation at Vodacom since January 2023, Odele oversees the development of strategies for talent management across eight Vodacom markets in Africa. Prior to this, Odele held the position of Group Head of Talent Management and Organizational Development at Hollard Insurance, focusing on the design and deployment of talent management tools. Odele's prior roles include Head of Talent, Learning and Diversity for Africa at Marsh & McLennan Companies, Head of Talent Management for Sub-Saharan Africa at Ericsson, and Talent and Development Manager overseeing pan-African operations at Shell. Odele’s career spans various HR functions, emphasizing strategic talent management, leadership development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, with solid educational grounding in Industrial Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch.
