Rivalani Hlongwane

Rivalani Hlongwane is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in advanced analytics and modeling across various industries. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Vodacom since January 2022, Rivalani previously held the position of Principal Specialist: Advanced Analytics, where contributions included developing customer churn models and advanced analytical solutions for revenue growth. Prior roles include Portfolio Specialist at Mercedes-Benz South Africa, where risk classification models were developed, and Manager of Advanced Analytics and Modelling at Standard Bank Group, with a focus on predictive modeling for inclusive banking. With a solid educational foundation, Rivalani holds a PhD in Business Administration and Management, as well as a Master's in Operations Research from the University of Cape Town, and a BSc in Mathematical Sciences from the University of the Witwatersrand.
